ConServ designed and built a 7200 SF Center for Cardiovascular Disease that involved demolition, renovation and new construction within an existing occupied building. This satellite facility is part of Prima CARE, a large, multi-specialty medical group serving southeastern New England. They employ nearly 120 providers, including primary care physicians and a broad range of specialists.
A 1,800 SF interior section of the Center was demolished to allow new construction of an AAASF Certified Vascular Surgery Suite incorporating a portable C-Arm unit, four new recovery rooms, reception area, and nurses station. The suite is equipped with central suction, medical gas distribution and an emergency back-up generator. The remaining 5,400 SF in the Center was reconstructed into a vascular laboratory, multiple exam rooms, a new reception area and multi-use office spaces.
